Attraction region has beautiful natural scenery as well as suitable for use as Camping (Camping Ground). In the past, the cave was used as the headquarters of Prince Diponegoro in the guerrilla struggle against Dutch colonialism in the year 1825-1830.
Prince Diponegoro moved to his home in Cave Selarong after Tegalrejo attacked and burned by the Dutch. Selarong Cave is located about 14 km north of Yogyakarta precisely in the sub display and be on top of a hill overgrown with many guava trees which are typical of those objects.
